Redington Field Kit - Euro - Discontinued
Complete Euro Nymphing Fly Rod Outfit for Technical Trout Fishing
The Redington Field Kit - Euro - Discontinued is a ready-to-fish Euro nymphing setup built for anglers who want to high stick tight water, detect subtle takes, and learn one of the most effective trout techniques. Designed around a 10' medium-action Euro rod, this kit gives anglers the length, sensitivity, and control needed for modern nymphing.
10' Euro Rod with Pre-Spooled Reel and RIO Line
The included Euro nymph rod features an easy-casting medium action that efficiently turns over thin leaders, tippet, and European-style nymph flies. Paired with a large-arbor Redington Run reel and pre-spooled with RIO FIPS Euro Nymph Line and RIO Euro Nymph Leader, this kit is rigged for quick setup and immediate time on the water.
Sensitive, Smooth, and Ready to Fish
The RIO FIPS Euro Nymph Line is designed specifically for Euro nymphing, with a supple core that maximizes sensitivity and supports fast hook sets. A lightweight diecast aluminum reel, large-arbor retrieval, smooth carbon drag system, loop-to-loop rigging, and Cordura carrying case make this a complete kit for anglers looking to fish technical water with confidence.

Wonderful fly rod very durable And it’s so sensitive you can feel the wind blow in the water if it feels like something’s touching it. It’s probably a fish.
Great pole for a great price! It’s helped me catch a ton of fish!
Got a nice little rainbow with it.
First fish on the euro setup! Rod worked like a charm, but unfortunately I snagged a rock and when trying to get my fly free, the rod snapped. The warranty came in clutch, and I'll be back on the water soon.
I’ve only had it out one time so far but I was really impressed with the quality of the rod and fly line that came with it. Perfectly balanced with the included reel as well.
The rod and reel are exceptional quality and at an unbelievable price. Shipping was super quick, however the outer case arrived with a slit in it.
11 mile canyon in Lake Gorge, C.O.
Crushing the euro nymphing around both the Fall & the Deschutes River. Love the Reddington road and reel. The feel and action on the pole is amazing, the reel is very smooth with a great disc drag that is easy to adjust. Overall I’m super happy with the combo, can’t beat it for the price.
Bought this deal to try tight lining nymphs for trout. I swapped out the leader and put a mono rig on it and it’s my GO TO rod for trout now. Yes I was skeptical about what it could handle, but while practicing throwing streamer for accuracy in a farm pond, I hooked into a 5+ pound largemouth. I don’t know if I’m more impressed with the rod or the reel. When I say SMOOTH, I mean like butter!! The drag system and reel itself is worth WAY more than it sells for. The rod was literally almost in a circle, but had enough back bone to get the fish in. I’m about to pull the Euro line and add some WF line incase I want to spool the mono rig and fish it like a conventional fly rod. I would definitely buy again from Fin and Fire and would most definitely recommend this Redington Combo to anyone, it’s a trout catching machine!
Handles well and the precision is spot on. The reel is great and the action is sensitive and I can detect strikes easily. Spend the money at this shop! Save more for flies and other gear! I have already caught a few dozen fish on this rod.
First Euro rod, took a little getting used to but was landing fish first day. Very responsive rod and I appreciated the combo kit to get into the euro style. Fast shipping and as described!
Great set up, super sensitive to feel strikes, very much a plug and play package, pic is first day out with it on a brown.
Great bang for the buck!
Really nice rod. Very sensitive and has added a whole new style of fishing to the arsenal.
Broke after I caught TWO fish. Literally went to pick it back up. It wasn't stuck on anything and it just snapped.
Incredible set up for the price, caught fish my first time out!
Better than I expected. It really reels in fish and bikes great.
The Redington euro field kit does exactly what is designed to do, high quality for an introduction rod/reel combo, it feels really good in the hand. It is far more sensitive to the river bottom and takes than previous tight lining on my 9' 5wt.
Absolutely killer deal on this outfit! Thanks fire and fin for having amazing deals!
Great price!
First time out caught 3 beauties...
Great combo!
Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Got here fast!
Solid fly rod set up to use in upstate New York
Great entry level set up for Euro Nymph
Only used it twice so far no fish on it yet but I'm going fishing tomorrow so we'll see how it does tomorrow.
Haven’t used it yet but can’t wait!!! Very efficient delivery time so thank you.
Great shop 10/10 recommend. Same day shipping.
Good so so far. Used it for a few seconds
Allkiggedd
Fantastic kit for the price, uneatable honestly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rod has a very slow tip recovery. You still can't beat this deal even considering that.
I wrote when I recieved the rod and reel. I love the whole set up. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but next week I am headed for the boulder mountain region of southern Utah near Capitol reef nat. Park. I will try it out and send some pics.Cheers, Mark
Kit is good quality and contains everything you need to start euro nymphing.
I just received it and will test this weekend
Great shop!
This is a great back up rod for me. The action on it isn’t top notch but it will work in a pinch. As for the fly shop that sold it to me, they have been so incredible to buy from. I definitely recommend these guys to purchase from and their customer service is amazing. You guys have earned yourself a customer. Thank you so much
Very different than the traditional fly fishing I’m used to. But I caught some great fish my first day out with this. And I caught them at a depth I could not have reached with my other rod.
Nice fly rod
Perfect. As described. First time euro nymphing and caught a nice brown trout. Looking forward to using it again.
