Lamson Guru X Fly Reel
Precision-Machined Performance Built for the Long Haul
The Lamson Guru X Fly Reel takes one of Lamson’s proven workhorse platforms and refines it with improved ergonomics, durability, and feel. Fully CNC-machined from aluminum, the Guru X balances lightweight performance with the rigidity needed for seasons of hard use across freshwater and saltwater applications.
Sealed Conical Drag with Smooth Startup
At the heart of the Guru X is Lamson’s proprietary Sealed Conical Drag System, engineered for virtually no startup inertia and a broad, smooth drag range. The sealed design protects critical components from water, dirt, and debris, while the larger fluted drag knob provides easier adjustment with indexed feedback you can feel.
Large Arbor Design with Refined Ergonomics
A large arbor improves line pickup and helps reduce line memory, while the thicker Delrin handle provides a comfortable, secure grip. An integrated counterweight reduces unnecessary parts and weight, and the radiused reel foot improves the connection between reel and rod.
Tool-Free Simplicity
The Guru X features click-on/click-off spool engagement for fast spool changes without tools or levers. It ships configured for left-hand retrieve and converts easily to right-hand retrieve without tools.
