Flex 4 Best suited for hunts at or above timberline where the terrain gets steep. Flexible enough that it can handle miles of comfortable climbing but stiff enough to offer support and rigidity with a heavy pack.
Flex 5 The stiffest boot options, best for alpine hunting and mountaineering. Sheep hunting, mountain goat, and the toughest of elk and deer terrain.
These are wonderfully engineered and great looking boots! SO disappointed they didn’t fit just right, but I have a notoriously difficult foot to get the right fit. So I don’t think it’s the boot construction would’ve loved to have kept these, but had to return. The return process was seamless and guilt free
Going on 50. Wore Romeos at work for several years. My feet were giving me problems. A friend had some Crispis that looked cool. Hesitant at first with a 300$ price tag. Absolute Game Changer. So light and so comfortable. I will buy Crispis going forward for the rest of my life. Worth every fricken penny.
Great shoes, excited for turkey season to put them to use!
Never had to break them in. Tried them on and went across a few canyons and never got a hot spot. Crossed a couple creeks and had dry feet. They are light and have great ankle support. Awesome boot for any season.
I’ve had the Thor II for a couple months now and they are excellent. I just finished a Total Archery Challenge at the Seven Springs Ski resort in PA. It was three days of walking steep up and down hill slopes, 4-8 miles per day. Rain, mud and wet grass. My feet never got wet and I had no signs of hot spots or blisters anywhere. I did have a small break in period with these boots and you have to have them laced up good and tight when traveling the steep stuff. Over all these are the best pair of hiking boot I have ever had. It took me awhile to commit to buying because of the price but I’m glad I did. Thanks for a wicked pair of boots.
Durable, light weight and didn’t have to break in!!! Love them
The boot is legit! true to size, very comfortable definitely a four on stiffness but it's a long lasting boot so that should be expected on breaking in.
I received the boot within an hour I did a 1 mile hike in them in 15 in of snow zero leaks very impressed. I did have Gators on so the snow didn't come above my boot but overall I think it's a fantastic boot I think it's going to take a while to break in the stiffness of them but the comfort level and the support is fantastic especially for someone that's actually in the mountains using them this is not an under armor boot that you buy online and use for two seasons this is a boot you use for 5 years plus.
