One such fruitful partnership has been with Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, renowned custom knifemakers with watchmaking roots, who describe their work as “art with an edge on it.” McHenry and Williams are also the creators of Benchmade’s game-changing AXIS® lock technology, first introduced on the 710 model back in 1999. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of AXIS® lock tech, the new 710FE-24 maintains the large frame and ample cutting power of the original — but with elevated features. Featuring a stylish drop-point, recurve blade made of mighty CPM-S90V steel with an FDE PVD finish, the 710FE-24 boasts a stunningly lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum handle with gray anodized finish, milled FDE PVD standoffs, pocket clip and pivot ring, and satin thumb stud and AXIS® lock. This anniversary variant is inspired by its original designers, McHenry and Williams.
