Ross Animas Fly Reel - Limited Edition - Raven

Limited-Edition Color, Proven Animas Performance

The Ross Animas Fly Reel - Limited Edition - Raven pairs the proven Animas platform with a striking black-and-iridescent-purple finish inspired by a classic tarpon fly color and Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous bird. Machined start to finish in Montrose, Colorado, Raven delivers the same lightweight strength, smooth drag, and fast line pickup anglers expect from the Animas.

Ultra-Large Arbor for Fast Line Control

The distinctive bell-shaped, ultra-large arbor increases line pickup while helping reduce line memory. Precision machining removes unnecessary material without sacrificing rigidity, creating a lightweight reel that balances well with modern fly rods.

Smooth Composite Drag Performance

An upgraded composite drag system provides smooth, consistent stopping power across a wide range of fishing situations. From protecting light tippets to controlling aggressive fish on streamer setups, the Animas delivers dependable drag performance in both fresh and saltwater.

Limited Edition Raven Finish

The Raven colorway combines a deep black anodized finish with iridescent purple accents for a distinctive, one-time look. A lightweight phenolic canvas handle provides secure grip when wet, while the anodized aluminum drag knob adds durability and easy adjustment on the water.
