Rio Outbond Short Intermediate 10 - perfect match to new Beluah Opal G2 surf rod I got from Fin and Fire. Time ago I purchased first edition of Beluah surf rod from Fin and Fire, fished it with Rio Outbond Short Intermediate 11 weight. It casts sizeable musky and pike flies extremely well and it was pleasure to cast it day after day without soar hands and shoulder pain. New G2 Opal - noticeable lighter and responsive compared to the first edition of Opal. Also it feels I can be a lot more accurate with my casts and stepping down in line weight from 11 to 10 for new Opal G2 was good decision. Rod is like shining with perfectly balancing line. Bought for my 9wt for surf fishing in S. Florida. Throws extremely well into various wind conditions and gets just low enough to glide through the waves.
