Ross Colorado Fly Reel - Limited Edition - Ember

Classic Click-Pawl Performance in a Limited Ember Finish

The Ross Colorado Fly Reel - Limited Edition - Ember combines the timeless feel of a click-pawl reel with modern machining and a striking black-and-burnt-orange finish inspired by October campfires and peak fall color. Built in Montrose, Colorado, it delivers lightweight performance, refined balance, and distinctive Ross styling for trout fishing from small streams to big rivers.

Lightweight Strength with a Semi-Caged Frame

The Colorado uses a semi-caged frame to increase strength and rigidity while keeping weight low enough to balance lightweight fly rods. Its open spool architecture creates a clean, spacious profile, while the beveled large arbor provides fast line retrieval and helps reduce line memory.

Smooth Vesconite Bushing and Click-Pawl Drag

A fully machined Vesconite bushing delivers a smooth, durable interface designed for long-term performance. The unidirectional click-pawl drag provides the crisp, audible sound and direct connection anglers appreciate in a traditional trout reel.

Limited Edition Ember Finish

The Ember colorway pairs a deep black finish with burnt-orange accents inspired by glowing coals, autumn leaves, and the last great stretch of trout season before winter. Beneath the limited-edition finish is the same proven Colorado platform, machined start to finish in Montrose, Colorado.
