Clear water, big fish, and cold, unpredictable weather
Steelhead season on British Columbias famed Bulkley River is renowned for all of the above. Our Bulkley Insulated Jacket is back by popular demand to keep you warm and dry during the coldest, harshest weather steelhead season has to offer. Snow, wind, or rain, the hooded GORE-TEX®shell sheds it all, while high-loft PrimaLoft®insulation in the body and sleeves adds the warmth you need to stay comfortable all day on the water. The jacket hem features waterproof GORE-TEX inside and out to keep you drier in deep wading conditions. The Bulkley Insulated Jacket also features our watertight Shingle Cuff design to prevent up-sleeve water migration every time you reach into the water. Fleece-lined hand-warming pockets help defrost your digits, and 2 fly box compatible pockets keep essentials within easy reach.

Extremely warm and comfortable. Very happy with the purchase.
Just the jacket I needed for steelhead alley in NY. I fish through the winter as long as I can before the rivers tighten up and this coat keeps me warm without all the added layers. All that was needed was a base layer and your favorite long sleeve shirt for temps ranging 25° to 29° with slight breeze. Haven't been out in extreme cold yet but I'm sure it'll be great. Pockets are deep and hand warmer side pockets are awesome and up high so the end of your spey rod doesn't catch in your pockets!!!
One of the most overpriced items of clothing I have ever purchased. I've always thought Simms jackets were top of the line and now I am so disappointed I'll probably never purchase another Simms product. I suppose if I lived in Arizona or some other warm weather location this jacket might work but living in the Pacific Northwest it just doesn't cut it. I feel like I need a jacket to wear over the Simms jacket to just to keep warm. The quality of this jacket is severely lacking as well. I have coats that were 1/3 the cost of the Simms and are of much better quality.
i expected it to be a little warmer jacket no handwarmer fleece in pockets like it stated i stayed cold in it its maybe a 200 dollor jacket surely not 375 its nice but not warm
Just purchased the Simms Bulkley jacket to allow for some more extreme fishing and i was blown away with the warmth despite not being overly bulky. First day on the water with it was in -8 windchill and I wasn't even slightly chilly. Incredible product, as usual, from Simms.
