Thanks to Crispi® know how, the Women’s Summit Boot is the proposed answer to every major need while trekking or backpacking. Designed and made in Italy with rugged terrain in mind, this boot is built to last.
The upper is made out of a high-resistance, water-repellent suede and has a Gore-Tex® Performance Lining to ensure maximum waterproof action. A rubber border is stitched around the base of entire boot to protect the material from external impacts. We use a differentiated structure and removable Crispi® Air Mesh on the insole for comfort and breathability. The midsole is Vibram® and has great shock-absorbing capabilities. Our joint-venture outsole with Vibram® Super-Grip Compound rounds out the tough and durable bottom of the Summit.
CRISPI® A.B.S.S. - After many years of research into materials and experimentation, CRISPI® has developed a system called A.B.S.S. (Ankle Bone Support System). A.B.S.S. revolutionizes the comfort and protection of the entire ankle area thanks to a combination of innovative materials that allow the footwear to contour gently your ankle. This system offers outstanding sprain protection even on the roughest terrain whilst supporting the ankle in all conditions, thus limiting fatigue on the lower joints even after very long walks. The A.B.S.S. is a huge step forward in the manufacturing and of footwear and CRISPI® dedicates this exclusive technology development to its customers.

Bought these for my lovely wife. She loves them!
Crispi for the win! 13 miles through the elements in these new boots. Feet remained completely dry. Laces never loosened. Not a single blister (and I was prepared for blisters). Beyond impressed and so happy with this product. Equally impressed with this distributor who offered free and fast shipping to Hawaii! Hunting trips will never be the same (in a good way)
The foot bed is perfect for someone who is flat footed like me. The shoe is comfortable, but I did change out the insoles for a slightly cushier one since I bough this shoe for a 200 mile thru hike.
I have worn it on two 10 mile training hikes so far. I have experienced a bit of pain on my right inner ankle around mile 5 and the left around mile 9 on both trips. I think this has to do with the two lacing hooks that are farther back than the others. Those help your feet from coming into contact with the front of the boot when hiking downhill, but I think lacing those puts too much pressure on my ankles. I'm going to experiment with leaving those out on my next hike and see if that helps.
