Belize with Ease

Sunshine, saltwater, and fishing!  Three of my favorite things and maybe some of yours as well.  Saltwater fishing in Central Oregon proves to be a challenge, so ladies and gentlemen for this experience we must travel.  Although there are thousand of saltwater destinations to be explored across this big world, I want to talk about one special place, Ambergris Caye, Belize. 

In October 2019 Fin and Fire had the privilege to share the El Pescador Belize Fly Fishing Lodge and Villas with 15 of our amazing clients.  This beautiful fishing destination offered us the opportunity to fish for the “Grand Slam”, bonefish, tarpon, and permit!  The fishing was exciting, hunting big saltwater fish is an experience every angler should experience at least once.  After that, if you are anything like me, you will be “hooked”! 

The resort proper was wonderful.  The staff was there to tend to every need we could have had, and the food was over the top, every night’s meal was different and oh so fresh!  With everything from casting instruction for those who maybe did not have their skills mastered just yet, to fishing guides that got you on fish, and rooms that were airconditioned and dehumidified (a true slice of heaven after a long day of fishing), there really was nothing we were left wanting for.  The amazing fishing combined with the absolute beauty of the region and ample things to do around the area, this is a trip not to be missed.  So, here is the great part friends, you do not have to miss it!  This fall Fin and Fire heads back to Ambergris Caye, Belize and the El Pescador Belize Fly Fishing Lodge and Villas.
